What statement does the film Forrest Gump make about violence in American history?

How many assassinations are shown/featured during the film?

What other violent acts occur during the film?

|||there are i think two assasinations, 1 is a president, and the other is a beatle. and then there is some bullying in the movie, and some war violence, but that is all i can think of|||i'm pretty sure that it talks about 3 different assassinations, president Kennedy, his brother, and john lennon of the beatles.

it also talks about the war inVietnamm, with the black panther association.

And when the governor of Alabama wouldn't allow African American's into the college.

Other than that there isnt anything else that is really big.
