What is a cheap and effective way to film my television?

I plan on doing videos that deal with video games. I want a cheap way to it. I also don't want to directly film my television. If you could provide a link to a video/website, that would be great. Thanks.|||If you want it to look good, you don't. You instead capture the A/V coming from the game console, using a capture device for your computer.
